For more than four decades, Rabbi Jeffrey Glickman has dedicated his life to helping people discover the wisdom, beauty, and meaning within Judaism.

Throughout his rabbinate, one belief has remained constant: Judaism is a treasure waiting to be uncovered.

Invite Rabbi Jeff and Mindy to Your Community

Communities today are looking for new ways to connect, learn, celebrate, and grow. Rabbi Jeff and Mindy are open to conversations about serving communities through a residency model: an opportunity to spend meaningful time embedded within a congregation, organization, or community.

​

A residency might include:

• Teaching and Torah study

• Shabbat experiences

• Adult learning

• Hebrew and prayer exploration

• Community conversations

• Storytelling and games

• Intergenerational programming

• Leadership development

• Creative Jewish experiences

Residencies may range from a weekend visit to several weeks, including possibilities of up to eight weeks, depending on the needs of the community and the opportunity. 

 

​Under our feet are gems which make life meaningful, sorrow lessened, joys elevated, loneliness abated, and gives direction. My task is to help others see that there is a mine and how to get those diamonds, their inheritance.

​

His rabbinate has been shaped by joy, Torah, relationships, curiosity, and the belief that communities thrive when people feel welcomed, valued, and empowered. Whether teaching Torah, leading prayer, celebrating a life cycle moment, building community, or simply sitting with someone in conversation, Rabbi Glickman approaches each encounter as an opportunity to reveal holiness.​

Serving one year as Interim Rabbi of Congregation Beth Israel in Carmel Valley, California, offered a fresh perspective and strengthened the ideas, teachings, and relationships that have shaped his rabbinate.  Alongside his wife, Mindy, Rabbi Glickman offers a new model of engagement bringing their combined gifts, energy, and experiences into communities for meaningful periods of time.

Together, they bring Torah, creativity, education, music, storytelling, hospitality, and community-building. Their work invites people to discover Judaism not only as a tradition to preserve, but as a source of connection, meaning, joy, and transformation. ​Together, Jeff and Mindy believe that Judaism is best experienced when it comes alive through relationships, participation, and shared moments.
